6/27/23 Demo Update 1.2


Figured I'd get it out of the way and upload another demo update today with the rest of the feedback I got. This one has a little more to it and as it stands I am happy with the foundation of the game. This means that its time to move on to making the rest of chapter one and some of the bonus content for the initial release!

Changes include:

  • Added centiseconds (2 decimal places) to the time counters in both the individual levels and in the level complete screen
  • Added a badge in the level complete screen that shows what difficulty is being played on
  • Fixed a bug in the tutorial where the pedestal appeared on top of the player
  • Fixed the placement of tutorial triggers in the tutorial to better ensure the player can read them all
  • Added check for if the score tracker was open when the level is restarted so that you don't have to re-open it every time you die
  • Tweaked transparency of HUD for better visibility
  • Changed transition at the end of the opening cutscene
  • Changed transition for the XP progress bar entering the screen on the secondary menu
  • Fixed a bug that caused new save files to absorb the data of the last file loaded *VERY IMPORTANT*
  • Changed implosion grenades to make them more effective
  • Fixed bug where skipping the tutorial would prevent you from unlocking the pistol
